BANK OF AUSTRALASIA, second issue, uniface black and white printers proof on medium paper, one pound, dunedin 14th july 1863, overprinted specimen in signature reserve, imprint of Perkins Bacon & Co London Patent Hardened Steel Plate (P.S111, Robb 4a). Corners cut off at tips, pencilled date '5th May 1863', bottom right side smudged or toned otherwise nearly extremely fine.
