UNION BANK OF AUSTRALIA, specimen fifty pounds, Melbourne, 1st May 1878, not numbered, imprint Perkins, Bacon & Co. London, Patent Hardened Steel Plate, three punchole cancellations stamped in signature reserve, with 'July 1878' in pencil in lower margin (MVR type 2(a)). All corners except lower right trimmed, lower right corner small fold, tiny indent top edge, minor creases top right corner otherwise mainly pristine, good extremely fine and rare.
