BANK OF VICTORIA, uniface ten pounds, Geelong, undated (18- printed), not numbered, unsigned printer's proof on card, stamped 'Specimen' in black in signature reserve, imprint of Perkins, Bacon & Co London,Patent Hardened Steel Plate, with 'Septr 21st 1853' pencilled in bottom border (MVR type 1, p.113). Corners trimmed, tipping adhesive marks on back, traces of paper adhered to front, 8mm tear centre top edge otherwise nearly extremely fine and rare.
