QUEEN VICTORIA, pattern proof half sovereign, 1856, with second type or wreathed head by L.C.Wyon for the Royal Mint , London, edge plain (3.89 grams). Minor surface marks, especially on the obverse otherwise nearly FDC and extremely rare.

Ex Pretoria Mint South Africa Collection in 1996.
