COMMONWEALTH OF AUSTRALIA, Sydney celebrations 1901, in gold (33mm, 15 carat 31.20 grams) struck at the Sydney Mint and distributed by Llewellin & Co., Jewellers (C.1901/14) inscribed to 'Lieut.Alex.Gillespie RN/January', on the edge ' a souvenir of the inauguration of the Commonwealth'. In original case of issue, uncirculated and rare to a naval officer.
