GEORGE III, Resolution and Adventure Medal 1772, in platina (brass) (44mm) struck from the first reverse die with die break, die axis coin style or 180ø, by B.F. (Matthew Boulton) (M.H.373; BHM.165). With small later suspension ring, traces of original gilding, dark red brown patina somewhat dull otherwise nearly extremely fine and rare, especially in this form.
