PERU, proof twenty nuevos soles 1996, crown size issue struck in gold (22 crt), commemorating 1996 games, rev. Seoul 1988, milled edge, (40.2 grams), (KM.-). Brilliant FDC.

Only one example known struck in gold. This piece with made as a pattern from the first reverse die (the shield of Peru), before being changed to the accepted design of the seated woman.
