The most important quality Greek and Roman coins are present in both parts of this sale. The sale includes the greatest collection of Seleucid coins sold over the last 70 years belonging to Arthur Houghton and are illustrated in ACNAC Houghton. The extensive catalogue descriptions particularly by Cathy Lorber on the Seleucid coins make this Sale the best catalogued of all the NFA auctions. The collection of almost 1000 coins realised over US$4,000,000.
