SYRIA, Seleucis and Pieria, Laodiceia ad Mare, Caracalla (A.D. 198-217), silver tetradrachm, (13.85 grams), issued A.D. 213-217, obv. laureate head of Caracalla to right, around AYT K M A **ANTWNEINO C CEB, rev. eagle standing facing, head to left, wreath in beak, between legs star of eight rays, around **DHMARC EX UPATOC TO D*, (S.2657, Bellinger 72 [ANS Num. Stud. No.3], p.34, plate VI,7). Slightly porous flan, otherwise extremely fine with some mint bloom.
