THESSALY, Pharsalus, (400-344 B.C.), silver drachm, (6.1 grams), obv. Athena head to right in close fitting helmet, ornamented with wing, TO behind, rev. horseman prancing to right, **FARS around horse, within incuse square, (cf.S.2191, SNG Cop. 220). With some horn silver and scratch on the obverse, otherwise nearly very fine and rare.
