THRACE, Istros, (400-350 B.C.), silver stater, (5.71 grams), obv. two young male heads facing, side by side, left inverted, right upright, rev. sea-eagle standing to left on dolphin to left, which it attacks with its beak, above **ISTRIH, below dolphin **DI* monogram, (S.1669; SNG BMC 254-5, BMC 10, Pick 421). Nearly extremely fine, rare symbol.
