MACEDON, kingdom of Philip III, (323-316 B.C.), silver tetradrachm, (17.02 grams), Aradus mint, issued 323-317 B.C., obv. head of Herakles to right with lion skin, rev. Zeus seated to left, eagle in outstretched hand, **DH* in lower left field, I under throne, to right **FILIPPOU, below **BASILEWS, (cf.S.6749, Price P144, BMC P144, M.P120, WSM pl.xliii, B). Well centred, good very fine, scarce.
