MACEDON, kingdom of Philip III, (323-316 B.C.), silver tetradrachm, (16.82 grams), Aradus mint, issued 323-317 B.C., obv. head of Herakles to right with lion skin, rev. Zeus seated to left, eagle in outstretched hand, thunderbolt and monogram in lower left field, I under throne, to right **FILIPPOU, below **[B]ASILEWS, (cf.S.6749, Price P141, BMC P141, M.P1). Good fine/fine, scarce.
