ITALY, Bruttium, Brettian League, (215-205 B.C.), AE 27 (reduced sextans), (14.21 grams), obv. helmeted head of bearded Ares to left, rev. **BRETTIWN to left, Hera Hoplosmia armed with spear and shield advancing right, fulmen [thunderbolt] to right, (S.702, SNG ANS 76). Green patina, very fine and very scarce.
