HENRY III, (1216-1272), silver penny, long cross issue, class 3a, issued 1248-1250, ION/ON N/EWE/CAS, Newcastle mint, (S.1324, N.986). Good very fine with attractive gold tone and scarce.

Ex. Richard Cyril Lockett collection and probably from Glendining's November 4-6 1958 (lot 2984 part) and with Dave Hess, Baton Rouge Louisiana envelope.
