HENRY III, (1216-1272), silver penny, long cross issue, class 3c, issued 1248-1250, RIC/ARD/ON h/ERE, Hereford mint, (S.1364, N.988). Weakly struck in the centre on the obverse, otherwise fine and rare.

Ex. Richard Cyril Lockett collection and illustrated on supplementary plate 78 (row 7 no 1), Glendining's June 6-9 1955 (lot 1204 part) and with Dave Hess, Baton Rouge Louisiana envelope.
