HENRY III, (1216-1272), silver penny, long cross issue, class 3b, issued 1248-1250, RIC/ARD/ON G/LOV, Gloucester mint, (S.1363, N.987). Good very fine, with blue tone and very scarce.
Ex. Richard Cyril Lockett collection and illustrated on supplementary plate 76 (row 7 no 5), Glendining's June 6-9 1955 (lot 1203 part) and with Dave Hess, Baton Rouge Louisiana envelope.
