PROBUS, (A.D. 276-282), Base silver antoninianii, Rome mint, obv. radiate bust l., in imperial mantle, holding eagle tipped sceptre, around PROBVS P F AVG, rev. Roma in six column temple, around ROMAE AETER, in exergue RVA, (RIC 187, S.3365), another Antioch mint, obv. radiate bust to right, around IMP C M AVR PROBVS P F AVG, rev. around CLEMENTIA TEMP, Emperor receiving globe from Jupiter star below, XXI in exergue, another similar but E below, (RIC 920, S3344). Very fine - extremely fine. (3)
