SEPTIMIUS SEVERUS, (A.D.193-211), silver denarius, Rome mint, commemorative issue, struck shortly after his death, obv. bearded bare head to right, rev. eagle standing facing on globe, head to left, (RIC 191C, BMC 21, S.1818). Extremely fine and rare.
