HADRIAN, (A.D. 117-138), AE sestertius, Rome mint, issued A.D. 134-138, obv. laureate head of Hadrian to right, around HADRIANVS AVGVSTVS P P, rev. HILARITAS P R, S C across field, COS III in exergue, Hilaritas standing to left, holding long palm in right hand and cornucopiae in left, boy and girl either side, (S.1116, RIC 970, C.817). Dark colour, nearly very fine and attractive.
