PALESTINE, Judaea, Herod Archelaus, ethnarch, (4 B. C. - A.D. 6), copper prutah, obv. prow of galley to right, rev. Greek inscription in wreath, (Hendin 60 [$50 US], S.5541). Has been cleaned, well worn but designs distinctive, otherwise very good and scarce.
