PERGAMON, kingdom of Attalos I, (241-197 B.C.), silver tetradrachm, (16.18 grams), Pergamon mint, obv. laureate head of Philetairos to right, rev. Athena seated to left on throne resting left arm on shield, and crowning legend FILETAIROU, monogram under arm, (cf.S.7220, Westermark obv.XCVII). Nearly very fine/ nearly fine and a rare type.
