SICILY, Syracuse, (c.480 B.C.), silver tetradrachm, (17.14 grams), obv. slow quadriga driven right by male charioteer holding goad, Nike flying to right crowning horses, rev. head with diadem of beads of Artemis-Arethusa, with four dolphins around, SURA KO SIO N, (cf.S.914, Boeh. 228 [V.102/R74]). Very fine and a rare die combination.
