ITALY, Calabria, Tarentum, (c.281-272 B.C.), silver didrachm, (6.61 grams), obv. naked boy seated on stationary horse lifting foreleg to right, I W above horse, NEU over MH below horse, rev. TARAS below dolphin to left with Taras seated sideways, stars either side, (cf.S.374, SNG Cop. 885, Vlastro 743 same dies). Off centre on reverse, attractive tone, nearly extremely fine.
