BLAXCELL, G., currency note, ten shillings, Sydney, 19 Feb 1814 (year printed in full), No.268, black on white. Many minor folds, with good edges, good fine and rare.

This example from February 1814 is early, with later issues of 1814 of Garnham Blaxcell having the year 181 and the final digit written in. Most known examples are late 1814 issues with the value and deletions in text written in. Mira reports the existence of three varieties of ten shillings currency notes for this issuer.
