CEYLON, Dutch rule, Negapatnam mint, silver fanam of 6 stivers, issued c.1675-1700, obv. crude human figure (Kali) with sankha shell and quatrefoil of four pellets, rev. twelve pellets below curved line O C (Ostindische Compagnie) above (Sch. 1234). Extremely fine and scarce.

A similar specimen is illustrated in the R.J. Ford Collection of Ceylon in VF condition (lot 18).
