SPAIN, Ferdinand and Isabella (1476-1516), gold copy of twenty excellentes of Granada, nd. original made 1492, (62.92 grams), obv. facing busts of king and queen. legend around in Gothic script FERNANDVS ET ELISABET D G RES, S between busts within dots, rev. crowned square shield with five fields for Castille, Leon, Aragon, Sicily and Granada, covered by Sicilian eagle, around SVB VMBRA ALARV M TVARVM PROTE. Interesting and extremely fine.
