PHILIP I, (A.D. 244-249), silver antoninianus, Rome mint, issued A.D. 248, (4.38 grams), obv. radiate bust of Philip I to right, around IMP C M IVL PHILIPPVS P F AVG P M, rev. around PAX FVNDATA CVM PERSIS, Pax standing to left with branch and sceptre, (S.2564, RIC 69, RSC 113). Very fine, cleaned and scarce.
