ELAGABALUS, (A.D. 218-222), silver denarius, Rome mint, issued A.D. 220, obv. laureate bust of Elagabalus draped and cuirassed to right, around IMP ANTONINVS PIVS AVG, rev. around P M TR P III COS III P P, Sol standing to left holding whip and raising hand, star in field to left, (cf.S.2093, RIC 40). Cleaned, edge chip and porous, otherwise good fine.
