CARACALLA, (A.D. 198-217), silver antoninianus, Rome mint, issued A.D. 213-217, (4.97 grams), obv. radiate bust of Caracalla to right, around ANTONINVS PIVS AVG GERM, rev. around VENVS VENTRIX, Venus standing to left, holding Victory and spear and leaning on shield, (S.1912, RIC 311d, BMC 79, RSC 608c). Good very fine/ very fine.
