COMMODUS, (A.D. 177-192), AE As, Rome mint, issued A.D. 192, (10.68 grams), obv. head of Commodus to right wearing lion skin, around L AEL AVREL COMM AVG P FEL, rev. across field HER CVL RO MANO AV GV, S C, club downwards, all within laurel wreath, (cf.S.1641, RIC 644, C.193). Green patina good very fine and rare.
