JERUSALEM, Kingdom of, Baldwin III, (1152-1162), silver denier (0.98 grams), 'Rough Series' Metcalf Type I, obv. cross around REX BALDVINVS, rev. Tower of David, around JEbIERVSALEH, (Metcalf Ash. 147, MPS 5 var. [p.117], Sch. III, 22). Very fine and very scarce.

Ex Mathew Rich Collectiom and CNG Sale 53 (March 15, 2000) (lot 2016 illustrated); previously from Malloy Auction Sale 39 (December 1994) (lot 1099) and the R. Pesant Collection. With a Baldwin's London ticket (marked Å“90).
