PHOENICIA, Arados, (138-43 B.C.), silver tetradrachm, (14.57 grams), issued year 197 = 63-62 B.C., obv. turreted bust of Tyche to right, dotted border, rev. Nike standing to left, holding aplustre and palm, all within wreath, to right ARADIO[N], to left Z9P over aleph over AS, (cf.S.5992, BMC 280, SNG Cop. 55). Off centred on reverse, otherwise nearly extremely fine/very fine.
