SYRIA, Seleucis and Pieria, Emisa, Macrinus (A.D. 217-218), silver tetradrachm, (15.00 grams), issued A.D. 217-218, obv. laureate head of Macrinus to right, around AYT K M [OP CE MAKRINOC C EB, rev. eagle standing facing, head to right, wreath in beak, between legs bust of Helios to left, around DHMARC EX YP[ATOC III], (Bellinger 199 [ANS Num. Stud. No.3], p.64, plate XIV,18, S.2950). Slightly off centred on reverse, a misshapened flan, otherwise extremely fine with mint bloom and very rare.
