SYRIA, Seleucis and Pieria, Antiochia ad Orontem (Antioch), Caracalla (A.D. 198-217), silver tetradrachm, (14.94 grams), issued A.D. 214-217, obv. laureate head of Caracalla to right, around [AYT] K M A ANTWNEINO C CEB, rev. eagle standing facing, head to right, wreath in beak, between legs star above crescent, around DHMARC EX YP[ATOC TO D], (Bellinger 33 [ANS Num. Stud. No.3], p.26, plate III,12, cf.S.2649) Slightly porous flan, otherwise extremely fine with some mint bloom and scarce.
