SYRIA, Kingdom of, Demetrius I, (162-150 B.C.), silver tetradrachm, (16.26 grams), Antioch mint, issued 156-155 B.C., obv. diademed head of Demetrius I to right, wreathed border, rev. Tyche seated left on throne, holding cornucopiae, on right, BASILEOS and to left DHMH TRIOV, to left HP monogram, (S.7014, Newell SMA 97). Old dark tone, Nearly very fine, scarce.
