MACEDON, Kingdom of Alexander III, (336-323 B.C.), silver tetradrachm, (17.15 grams), 'Amphipolis' mint, issued c.336-323 B.C., obv. head of Heracles wearing lion skin to right, rev. Zeus seated to left, eagle in outstretched hand, hern to left in outer left field, to right ALEXANDPOV, (cf.S.6721, Price 78, BMC 78a-f, Muller -). Good fine.
