THRACE, islands of, Thasos, (c.after 148 B.C.), silver tetradrachm, (15.88 grams), obv. head of young Dionysos to right, wreathed with ivy and band across forehead, rev. Heracles naked standing to left, holding club, lion skin over left arm, to right HRAKLEOVS, to left SWTHROS, below FASIWN, M to left, (cf.S.1759, SNG Cop. 1039). Good very fine,
