THRACE, Abdera, (411-385 B.C.), silver drachm or tetrobol (2.82 grams), obv. griffin prancing to left, rev. head of Hermes to left, caduceus before, with magistrate name, around EPI ER0 FAN EOS, (cf.S.1546, BMC 41 [same dies], May 279, [these dies A208, P236; 1 piece reported the British Museum specimen]). Good very fine and rare.
