THRACE, Kingdom of, Lysimachos, (323-281 B.C.), silver tetradrachm, (16.70 grams), Lampsacus mint, issued 297-281 B.C., obv. head of Alexander to right, with diadem and horn of Ammon, within dotted circle, rev. Athena enthroned to left, supporting Nike, spear behind, to far left a hern, inner left field monogram of DX, to left BASILEWS to right LYSIMAXOY, (cf.S.6814, Thompson 50). Some obverse porosity, otherwise good very fine.
