HADRIAN, (A.D. 117-138), gold aureus, Rome mint, issued A.D. 125-128, (7.14 grams), obv. laureate head of Hadrian to right, drapery on far shoulder, around HADRIANVS AVGVSTVS, rev. around COS III, Hadrian on horse galloping to right, with spear in rest position. (cf.S.1072, RIC 187). Good very fine and rare.
