EAST INDIA COMPANY, Madras Presidency, British Style Coinage system, Gold mohur or ashrafi, issued 1819, struck at Madras mint, obv. EIC arms with suporters, around ENGLISH EAST INDIA COMPANY, rev. in Persian 'Ashrafi (or Mohur) of the Honourable English Company', (Pr. 241, KM. 421). Very fine.
