BENGAL PRESIDENCY, Murshidabad Mint, 1793 Second Milled issue, Perpetual 19 san sicca series, Copy of Standard Gold Currency, in the name of Shah Alam II (A.H.1173-1221, A.D.1759-1806), Gold quarter mohur in style of half mohur, (2.91 grams), Regnal Year 19 (fixed), without Privy mark and with oblique milling to left, (cf.Pr. 402, cf.KM. 101). Extremely fine, from the same dies as the previous lot, red tone.

Ex. Spink Australia Dec. 2, 1982 by private treaty. $$ Struck from very crude dies are of modern production.
