BOMBAY PRESIDENCY, Indian Design, Bombay Mint 1825-1831, in the name of Shah Alam II (A.H.1173-1221, A.D. 1759-1806), Regnal Year 46, with Privy Mark of inverted crown below three pellets, (Pridmore Privy mark No.9), silver half rupee, with clear Regnal Year 46, (P.281, KM.217.3). Nearly extremely fine, and very rare.

Ex. Glendining's 1964. $$ The Pridmore specimen (only example of the series in his collection) was illustrated in his sale catalogue but is not as fine as this specimen.
