MADRAS PRESIDENCY, Masulipatan (Macchlipattan) Mint Coinage, First issue 1678, copper cash obv. balemark, rev. 'Sri Ranga' in Telugu in two lines, another nd. c.1796-1798, obv. balemark, rev. check pattern, copper half dudu (five cash), obv. balemark CC/E, rev. date 1726, (Pr. 72, 91, 108, KM.SAC 72; SCWC 290, 313). Very fine - extremely fine and rare. (3)

Ex. Spink London Numismatic Circular Sept. 1976 (7883) for second coin, others from Daniels, the first coin described in Spink Numismatic Circular April 1980 (p.92 Å“75).
