AURANGZEB, (A.H. 1068-1118, A.D.1658-1707), round Gold mohur, (11.015 grams), struck at Surat mint, issued A.H. 1095 (A.D. 1683-4), Regnal year 28, obv. Aurangzeb name and date at top, rev. mint names at bottom, Regnal year centre right, (cf. BMC 707, cf.Nagpur 1056, cf.Panjab Museum Lahore 1487, cf.Indian Museum Calcutta 1150, KM. SAC 315.45). Extremely fine, and scarce.
