SHAH JAHAN I, (A.H. 1037-1068, A.D.1628-1658), round Gold mohur, (10.88 grams), struck at Patna mint, issued A.H. 1047 (A.D. 1637-8), Regnal Year 11, obv. Kalima, square borders with radiating line corners, margins as usual, date 1047 upper left margin, rev. Shah Jahan within square with radiating line corners, mint in left margin, Regnal year in square, (cf.Indian Museum Calcutta 856, cf.KM. SAC 260.14). Good very fine, very rare and an unpublished date.
