SHAH JAHAN I, (A.H. 1037-1068, A.D.1628-1658), round Gold mohur, (10.835 grams), struck at Ahmadabad mint, issued A.H. [10]42 (A.D. 1632-3), Ilahi month 'Di', obv. Kalima in three lines, mint name Ahmadabad below, month Di at base, rev. Shah Jahan, date on edge at 10 o'clock, (cf.BMC 529, cf.Indian Museum Calcutta 837, KM. SAC 255.1). Very fine, and very rare, an unpublished date and month for this mint.
