AKBAR, (A.H. 963-1014, A.D.1556-1605), Gold mohur, (10.83 grams), struck in Agra mint, issued A.H. 978 (A.D. 1570-1), Agra mint signature, obv. Kalima, rev. Akbar's name, date and mint signature, (BMC 45, Punjab Museum Cat. 131, cf.Nagpur 12, Indian Museum Calcutta -, KM. SAC 106.1). Short on flan on obverse, nearly full on reverse, otherwise very fine, scarce.
