AKBAR, (A.H. 963-1014, A.D.1556-1605), Gold mohur of native workmanship, (11.025 grams), Agra mint reading, date reading A.H. 973 (A.D. 1565-6), legends all reversed, obv. Kalima, rev. Akbar's name, date and mint signature, (cf.KM. SAC 105.1). Slightly short on flan on obverse, nearly full on reverse, otherwise nearly extremely fine, interesting and rare.

Ex. Spink Australia, Sale 7 (lot 125 part). $$ Of native workmanship with reasonably good legends, but these all reversed, is very unusual and rarely seen.
